World Clock
The current time in cities around the world
A live board of cities with their offsets, their daylight-saving state, and a read on whether it is morning, working hours or the middle of the night there.
Questions people ask
The things that come up about world clocks, answered plainly.
Can I add my own cities?
Yes — search any IANA zone and it joins the board. The board is kept in the address bar, so a link to it restores exactly the same set for whoever you send it to.
How many time zones are there?
Thirty-eight distinct UTC offsets are in use, from UTC-12 to UTC+14, and about 350 named zones in the IANA database — because two places sharing an offset today may not have shared one in the past, and history is what the database records.
