Rotation Schedule Calculator
Who is on, and when?
A round-robin rota from a list of names and a shift length — day by day, with handovers marked and each person's total shown so the split is visibly fair.
Questions people ask
The things that come up about rotation schedule calculators, answered plainly.
How long should an on-call shift be?
A week is the common default because it means one handover; shorter shifts spread the burden but multiply handovers, which is where context is lost. The page shows both the per-person load and the handover count.
Does everyone get the same number of weekends?
Only if the team size and shift length divide evenly into seven. The page counts weekend days per person so an unfair rota is visible before it is published rather than after.
