Why is my day full when I only have three meetings?
Fragmentation. Three meetings spread across a day can leave four gaps of under an hour and no block long enough to work in. The page lists gap lengths for exactly this reason.
What is a usable block?
You decide — set a minimum and the page counts only gaps at least that long. Ninety minutes is a common threshold for anything requiring concentration.
