Interval Timer
An interval timer for rounds and rests
Work, rest, repeat — for circuits, HIIT, tabata or anything with a rhythm. Set the round length, the rest, the number of rounds, and let it run.
Questions people ask
The things that come up about interval timers, answered plainly.
What is tabata timing?
Twenty seconds of work and ten of rest, eight rounds — four minutes in total. It comes from Izumi Tabata's 1996 study on high-intensity intervals, and it is a preset on this page.
Does it warn me before each round?
Yes — the last three seconds of every interval are counted down distinctly, so you are not watching the screen to know when to move.
